    Panasonic KX-TG8183EB Cordless Phone with Answering Machine.

    I recently purchased this phone and after initial set-up all seemed well, but found that when I tried to listen to messages on the answering machine they were so distorted with crackling, they were inaudible. Tried to remedy this with no success therefore it renders the answering facility useless. Not happy. D. S
